History

Shelby Printing was started in 1923 by Claude Jasper Mabry to provide printing services for Shelby and the surrounding Cleveland County area.

His son, Franklin Mabry, took over from him.

In the 1980s, Shelby Printing acquired to other printing companies to broaden their customer base and service area. Rock Hill's Art Printing services an area south of Charlotte, NC, while Matthew's Innovative Printing services an area East of Charlotte.

Following Franklin's retirement, sons Will and Chris Mabry took over the operation. Will serves as day-to-day operations manager while Chris is the head of sales.
